NEW MEMBER - CAN'T POST??

Hi Matt..not sure if i`m being dumb ( probably am) but i`ve spent half an hr trying to work out how to post an introduction ( i`m a new member)..where do i type my intro as i can`t find a chat box like this ? i`ve gone to the `Newtopic` box a few times but not sure if that`s the one i use?
please assist.
