Forum replies not showing ocassionally

Matt - On one or two occasions I have replied to a topic only to find that it hasn't shown on the thread. Is there any reason for this or has anyone else noticed the same. It hasn't happened very often only 2/3 times, but I just wondered why.

Did you get the message that said "your message has been entered succesfully" after clicking send?

are you using your backbutton, or waiting after the post to get forwarded back to the thread?

Yes it did say it had been entered successfully. Don't use the back button as it always says the 'page has expired' Will keep an eye on it and let you know if it happens again Matt

your browser... the internetsettings for temporary files - what is clicked on for that?
Automatic? Cause that setting suck bigtime... cause it don't work properly. You would need to change it to 'every time you visit the page' (top option) to force it to reload a page that has new content. Otherwise you could be stuck just having it loaded from your temporary files, and ofcourse new content won't always be up to date there.

Hope it's not a reoccuring thing, although if it does happen again, it's likely to be what Lina is saying. The message has been entered, but for some reason your browser isn't updating the page quick enough to show the latest reply. You shouldn't need to click back anyway as once you click send you're given two link options which you can click - "click here to view my message" and "click here to go back to forum".
