Editing posts
Hi,
Can members please note that the "edit" feature on your post is for correcting mistakes, adding info or making MINOR necessary alterations only. It is not designed so that you can go back and remove whole lines to eliminate any trace of the comment ever existing
.
From now on there is going to be a 15 minute time slot in which you can edit posts after submitting. After that the edit button will automatically dissapear. We'll see how this goes...
If you need to update advertisements in the for sale/wanted/breeder's websites/breeder listings sections, please do so in the form of a reply. Replies are what stop the autoprune eating up inactive threads in those sections anyway, so this is a better way of updating.
Outside of the time frame of editing posts, if you still want something edited, you'll need to PM an admin or mod.
Thanks for understanding!

Re: Editing posts
Making this a global announcement as a few people are stumped as to why the edit post is dissapearing.
