Bloody cookies

Post by Roline on Sat Jan 01, 2011 6:06 pm

There was me going through my unread posts, and when I went back to the list, all the posts I was yet to read had been erased - so now I have no idea what I have read and what I haven't. Why does this always happen to me???

I was told it was something to do with cookies - maybe I wasn't supposed to eat them.................................

lol!

It is, but I'm not sure why it's doing this to you Roline! The cookies are supposed to remain until you've read the post, it seems yours are being wiped mid-reading.

What browser do you use?

I couldn't use opera on the forum to be honest, I had a few people telling me about various issues when using Opera, so I downloaded it to 'test' it and it was all very weird! Use it on IE without issues though, although my main browser is firefox (which I am totally addicted to because it's so customizable!). Works fine on Chrome too, it just doesn't 'like' Opera!

I removed Opera, but I might have to download it again to see where the settings are and if anything can be done to improve it for you Confused

I like Opera, generally is works really well. There were issues when I had it first with some of the flash games etc on Facebook, but those problems seem to have been sorted out now
