signature sizes

Post by violet1991 on Tue Dec 14, 2010 5:02 pm

I don't mean to be rude, but there are a couple of people who have huge signature images, and I think maybe it's a bit much?

Matt is there a guidline about this kind of thing anywhere?? Maybe if there isn't one, one could be made?
-not only is it a bit of a distraction when reading posts, it can cause people's pages to load slower.

Thanks,
Vi xxx

I think that's a good idea Vi. There are some that are a bit too big in my opinion and do sort of take up all of the space!

Smile When I make my signatures I always try make them as small as I can, I have my animated one because I can fit more info in the same small space.

I'd be happy to offer myself if anyone wants a signature similar, just drop me a PM.

Goodness am just recovering from the shock of Kawai's signature size! Am I right in thinking that is what led you onto this subject Vi lol! Nicole (Kawai) hope you don't mind but have had to remove it, think you may have made a mistake with the sizing!

That's one of them yeah, but it's not the only one I've seen... I don't at any point mean to sound naggy or anything, my computer screen and connection speed can handle it, but I know others might not, just thinking for everyone really.

I think it's more about the site Nicole (and I think shannon too...) have used to make their signatures that makes them so big, it's not the fault of any one of them. Don't know if there's an option on the site to select the size of the image created??

Sorry if i've offended girls, I didn't mean to, forgive me? Razz
