Fancy mice available

Post by Roline on Tue Feb 02, 2010 9:24 am

I have a small number of fancy mice available. They are pet quality rather than show, as I am working on breeding longhairs, and they haven't quite got that show 'type' yet.

At the moment I don't have a lot of does, but do have some black semi-longs (and possibly some dove semi-longs) available

I also have some lovely bucks which are surplus to requirements and too good to go the 'normal route of the male mouse'

Satins in Red Eyed White, Bronze (not a recognised colour, but stunning) and dove

Can take to Bristol or Devon

Bucks gone - still some dove and black semi-longhaired does available. More bucks on the way, maybe satins - but don't know yet, as they are all pink jelly babies Smile

I am sooo very tempted, but have ended up with more cages than expected as the boys hate each other

Often good exhibition line bucks won't live together peacefully (I don't know if this is the case with yours though Sam) but they somehow have accidently bred them to be antisocial it seems through housing them alone anyway.

My two Fuzzy mice are not too bad I do have them together with their cage next to the other that houses the lone male, if they are not near him they fight, but when they are next to his cage they are fine, there is a minor scrap now and then but nothing to worry about, they seem to accept his as boss even though he is in another cage

If you have a spare blue buck Essie, I would be very interested. I have a blue 'tan' doe (more like otter, she has a cream belly Smile ) and I want to try and breedf some blue offspring from her, but as far as I know, only her Mum carries blue in my lot. She is currently pregnant (hopefully) with one of my satin bucks - can you imagine satin blue if any pop out........ - DIVINE!!
