FORUM UPDATE

Post by Matt on Wed Mar 10, 2010 1:03 am

Hello,

The forum has just been updated to the latest software version. Please note a few important things:

-The current style/look/colourscheme of the forum may well NOT be final.

-The new version WILL take some getting used to for some of you - and you may not be keen at first. However, overall the update was important as the new version brings with it a wider range of features and is generally smoother to run.

-If you don't get something, please ask!

I understand that not everyone will be happy with the changes. We will be working to improve the template in the near future. The main thing right now is that the forum is usable by everyone and that the update has been succesful .

Thanks,
Matt

The new version will take some getting used to.. more for some than others - just have faith in that the change is for the best, also when you consider forumsecurity :-)

Thanks everyone! I'm glad the "transformation" hasn't been too hectic for you. I must say once you get comfortable with using it, and where everything is, it does become quite nice to use! Smile

This isn't the final design - but the style will always be similar to this now and how it "works".

It's just what you're used to really, we had the design before this for a lonngg time.

I seem to be having problems, sometimes whn I click on a forum there is nothing there just a blue page, then I scroll down and there it is, why are things dropping down the page?

What browser do you use Sam?

Does this only occur when you go into specific forum sections?

I have updated the forum style today - we now have a green theme. I hope everyone likes it?

There may still be a few minor alterations to it, but nothing major!
