Sows can have had 1 litter and be ready to breed again soon. Wanting the lilacs/whites for my argente breeding so colour is the most important thing. I am in County Durham but am going to Keighley and Corbridge(Northumberland) shows and can collect from either of those. Thanks, Lesley-anne.

But its something that we all have to deal with. When you lose a pig or a litter do you bury them? If you have a run of bad luck or have been doing this for a while of course you are going to have deaths. But what do you do with them?

Personally I don't see how they will enforce it and if they start charging £600 a year for insurance, people won't be able to afford it, I think dogs will be abandoned and the rescue centres will be full!

It will also affect dog related business like Kennels and Groomers I think.

Our PE Creams are bred from T. Cooke, P Gammie, C Rowlands, L. Leete lines. As most of these have been top quality DE Cream stock, some of the available youngsters ...

I had to take them to the vets and he thinks it's like eczema, he original thought fungal like i did, but then he changed his mind. Anyway they're on anti-biotics. ...

Yesterday I came home to find 2 newborn babies. It wasn't that big a surprice - I knew the mother was pregnant What I didn't know was how far she was (DOH.. I forgot to write it down the day I put her together with the boar, so...), so I thought she wouldn't give birth until at least a week, but surprise surprise...

Because I was surprised, she were still living with the boar, so if he has been quick she's expecting a litter again in 10 weeks. It wasn't meant to be and it's not something I ...

I am considering/working on the parents getting a third dog. It might happen...possibly, I was discussing rotties with my mum earlier and she was saying how puppies are a lot of work (yes mum I know ) but it wasn't ...

My swiss sow Janey was huge, thought she would have them today as she was quieter than normal and hasn't stuffed quite so much food.

Just went to check on her for the 50th time today! She has had 4, still wet and all a good size. The sow fairy has left though! There is a black boar,a golden agouti boar, a buff(may be light gold) boar and a gold sow.

Sow is the 1st gold one to the left.

Two litters born today at Kirinsway.

Whisper (white/biege coronet) and Wizzard (white coronet/blue eyes) have had 2 little crackers, a boar and a sow.

Both are 90% white, the boar has a black eyepatch and the sow has a gold one.

Tazmin Tiara (slate tan) and Asher (slate tan) have had 3 whomping great babies, all boars (aren't they always?!), but they all look pretty darn good to me.

Mums are doing ok, pics later in the week.

Hello!

Could anyone help me find breeders of self or english crested in the colours lilac and beige? I'd like to have their contact information(e-mail, phone no.) and webpage adress if they have any.

The cavies I am looking for should mainly be bred for showing and breeding, since I am planning on starting to breed those varieties myself. Maybe I'll just breed lilacs, maybe just beige, maybe both, I haven't decided yet. I just want to check out where I can find the breeders first.

Thanks ...

Just cause I am not all too sure about something... hey, english is my second language *G*

There has been an upgrade, and instead of the 'title' there was before, there are now 2 boxes.

One labelled 'prefix' and another labelled 'suffix'... and I am going

Anyone able to clue me in on what those boxes are supposed to cover?

I am figuring it has to be something about the titles of the animals.. but other than that, I am pretty blank
